HEMC is hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose, HPMC is hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, HEC is hydroxyethyl cellulose.
HEMC has more hydrophilic groups and is more stable at high temperatures and has good thermal stability. It has relatively high gel temperature, which is more advantageous in high temperature environment. The gel temperature of HEMC can reach over 80 degrees Celsius, while the gel temperature of HPMC is generally 75 degrees Celsius, and the price is more expensive than HPMC. HEC has no methyl group in the substituent group, good hydrophilicity, mainly used in water-based coatings.
HPMC has a wide application in construction and daily grade products and Cost-Effective.
