HPMC Main applications

(1) Construction industry: HPMC has good thixotropy and ease of combination, which makes mortar pumpable. As a binder in plaster slurry, gypsum material, putty powder or other building materials, it has thixotropy and slow-setting property, which can improve applicability and extend operability time. As an adhesion enhancer for bonding tile, marble and plastic decoration, it can reduce the amount of cement. It has water retention, so that the slurry will not crack after application because it dries too fast and enhances the strength after hardening.
(2) Ceramic industry: HPMC widely used as a binder in the manufacture of ceramic products.
(3) Coating industry: HPMC used as thickener, dispersant and stabilizer in the coating industry, with good compatibility in water or organic solvents. It can be used as paint stripper.
(4) ink printing: in the ink industry as a thickener, dispersant and stabilizer, in water or organic solvents have good solubility.
(5) Plastics: HPMC Used as molding release agent, softening agent, lubricant, etc.
(6) Polyvinyl chloride: HPMC is used as dispersant in the production of polyvinyl chloride, and is the main auxiliary for the preparation of PVC by suspension polymerization.
