Misunderstanding 1: Tile glue is glue
Just listen to the name-tile adhesive. Many people may think that it is cement and glue. In fact, tile glue is not glue, its main component is still cement. It is pre-mixed with high-quality cement, graded quartz sand and various polymers in the factory according to standard formulations. It is a safe and environmentally friendly product and does not contain harmful substances such as formaldehyde and benzene.

Misuse 2: Mixing cement and mortar in the tile glue
Like the case mentioned above, adding cement to the tile glue seems to increase the amount of material and make it cheaper, but it actually causes a big loss! The reason is that the tile glue firmly adheres the tiles by the intermolecular force generated by the special additives in the product. Adding cement at will will change the formula of the product, reduce the cohesive force, and cannot guarantee the quality of the product.

Misuse 3: Use time is too long, add new glue to mix and use
Some masters will mix the tile glue left last night with water and tile glue powder in the next morning. In fact, the active ingredients of the tile glue have undergone a chemical reaction. Adding water will only change the operating performance, which will lead to the later bonding strength. Insufficient; tile glue should be used as soon as it is stirred, the use time should be controlled within 2 hours, and it should be discarded after it dries.
