what is HPS

Hydroxypropyl Starch Ether (HPS) is a white fine powder obtained from natural plants as raw materials, modified, highly etherified, and then spray-dried. It does not contain plasticizers. It is completely different from domestic starch or modified starch.
Application areas:
It can be used as an admixture for cement-based products, gypsum-based products and ash calcium products. It has good compatibility with other building admixtures. Used in conjunction with hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose ether (HPMC), it can thicken, promote internal structure, have better crack resistance and improve workability. The addition of HPMC can be significantly reduced by adding modified starch ether.
