HPMC provides good water retention and workability for fresh mortars and is particularly important for wetting areas. To ensure a smooth hydration reaction, it prevents excessive water absorption in the substrate and evaporation of water from the surface layer. Due to its air-entraining properties, it reduces the weight of the tile adhesive, saves material and reduces the modulus of elasticity of the hardened mortar body.
Welcel tile adhesive is suitable for indoor and outdoor bonding of tiles, glass tiles and other finishing materials, for walls and floors, for all types of dry or humid indoor and outdoor environments, for water absorption in ≥ 0.2% porcelain tiles.
